Career Guidance Career guidance cell of the school is providing the latest knowledge to the students. It guides them about the various fields of education. In this era of competitions it is the need of the hour to inform the students the latest career prospects .The cell motivates the students through experiences. It is the commitment of the cell to provide the latest information regarding career. National Service Scheme The school has one NSS unit for the students. NSS volunteers are enrolled at the beginning of the session. NSS develops a sense of participation among students in nation building programmes, which are oriented, basically towards social work, social welfare and development. Students get an opportunity to participate in programmes such as tree plantation, eradication of illiteracy and health services. NCC Unit Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Senior Secondary School has a NCC unit. It is helping students very much. Many students got a job in army due to their NCC certificate. On june 10th,2017 Ist camp of session held in Baba Jeewan Singh college satlani sahib. Students got Ist position in cross country. Second camp of the session held on 4th sept 2017 at satlani sahib. Fifteen students participated and got positions. Achievements in NCC camp 2017:
- Total cadets = 100
- First camp = Ist june to 10th june 2016 in Baba Jeewan Singh College Satlani Sahib
- 5 cadet got first position in cross country
- Second camp = 4th sept to 14 sept 2017
- Total cadets = 15
- Students got first position in Tug of war and cross country
- Second position in volleyball and singing Competition
